Who is BU, me or DH?

Just had a row with DH- we’re going to his parents today for non-Christmas Day as we’ll be at my DMs on Tuesday.

He said he wanted to leave by half 10. He started getting pissed off with me for not being ready to go at 10:12, and was completely pissed off when I was ready to go at 10:24, saying he’s sick of getting ready and having to wait around for me, it wouldn’t kill me to get ready earlier etc etc.

The way I see it, he said he wanted to leave by half 10, I was ready to leave by half 10 and we were indeed out the door before half 10, therefore I have done nothing wrong and he has absolutely no reason to be in a piss with me.

Who is BU?

He is.

Racecardriver · 23/12/2018 10:45

You husband is vv unreasonable.

Hwory · 23/12/2018 10:46

Seems like he was in a mood and just wanted a reason to have a go at you.

JollyGiraffe · 23/12/2018 10:46

Him, obviously

ChodeofChodeHall · 23/12/2018 10:47

YANBU. he sounds horrible

Birdsgottafly · 23/12/2018 10:48

He is wrong.

Does he really want to go?

RoboticSealpup · 23/12/2018 10:48

He is.

ToastyFingers · 23/12/2018 10:48

He is. Does he like going to his mum's? My husband and I are sometimes snippy with eachother before visiting his mum, and the prospect of it stresses us both out a little.

TeaStory · 23/12/2018 10:49

He is.

TooTrueToBeGood · 23/12/2018 10:49

Aside from the fact you were on time, it was a visit to family not an appointment to see your MP. Does he often get extreme anxiety over punctuality? I do, but realise it's my issue so Ive trained myself not to inflict it on others.

Hanab · 23/12/2018 10:50

Obvs him!

VimFuego101 · 23/12/2018 10:50

He is. Does he get on with his family? It sounds like he was already wound up.

IamaBluebird · 23/12/2018 10:51

He is. Tell him to behave like an adult and have a nice day at his parents.
If he doesn't tell him to put his pissy mood where the sun doesn't shine or he ll wonder what day it is.

Travis1 · 23/12/2018 10:52

He is.

ScreamingBadSanta · 23/12/2018 10:53

Yup; your DH. He said 10:30, you were ready by then.

Littleraindrop15 · 23/12/2018 10:54

If you set the time for half 10 then he is being unreasonable. Unless he thought 10?

AnoukSpirit · 23/12/2018 10:54

How often does this happen that you even need to ask?!

Of course he is!

JennyHolzersGhost · 23/12/2018 10:55

Was he meaning ‘by 10.30 latest’ and you thought that meant ‘at 10.30’?

goldengummybear · 23/12/2018 11:08

10:24 is earlier than 10:30 so your h is unreasonable. If he wanted to leave at 10:14 then he should have told you that last night

Sinead100 · 23/12/2018 11:09

He's being unreasonable.

AngeloMysterioso · 23/12/2018 11:21

We were both in a perfectly happy mood before that- I could tell by the way he was speaking to me at 10 past 10that he was in a mood about something, I asked if it was because I wasn’t ready to go yet, he said “little bit”.
