Who is right, how many days until Christmas

My partner says it's 2. His logic "because at midnight on the Monday night it'll be Christmas" but it's 3 isn't it?
I even said count 2 up from 22 and it gets you to 24 so no it's not 2 days but he insists it is!
For a primary school teacher I don't think he's all that smart

It's three. Sunday, Monday, Tuesday. Three sleeps. Absolutely no doubt about it. He's wrong, you're right.

With his logic it's 2 days 15 hours (or something like that). You'll have to count in days and hours if he's using 12am.

It's 3. Saturday, Sunday, Monday then Tuesday (Christmas).

You're right. Midnight Monday night is actually Tuesday

Either count the exact time (2 days and however many hours) or the sleeps (3 days). I count sleeps. We change the countdown when we come downstairs every morning.
