AIBU to ask about socks and pants?

I never post in AIBU but really need help with this stocking filler.

My husband loves fat face socks and pants. I find them excruciatingly expensive - can anyone suggest alternatives that are just as good quality? Thick socks are the ideal.

Have you tried TK Max? They're great for underwear this kind of year and you'll probably find something similar.

If it's a present, get him what he actually wants, not a substitute you think are good enough, even if that means getting him fewer.

OhFlipMama · 20/12/2018 22:44

@bridgetreilly Oh he'd be over the moon to discover a less expensive version.

Penguin are good. Tk Maxx usually sell them. Nice packaging too.

Have you checked there’s not a fat face outlet shop near you? We’ve had one open recently and it’s so much cheaper!

Try Wild Feet for socks

I live in White Stuff knickers, they’re the only ones I’ll buy now and I wouldn’t go for imitations. They last for ever and wash beautifully never mind being super comfy. Get him the ones he likes.

OhFlipMama · 21/12/2018 06:48

I live rurally @JellyButton15 there's not much near us!

Fat face socks are rubbish quality in my experience. I bought some last year and really don't like how they feel on my feet. They are baggy Confused Their clothes in general have drasticallly reduced in quality over the years. They were doing an offer of a free pair of socks with orders a few days ago, not sure if they still are. They might be 3 for 2 aswell.

OhFlipMama · 21/12/2018 18:55

I've ordered some - the problem is he likes the £16 a pair ones which are thick and fluffy-ish. I don't know where else I can get similar without them leaving bits everywhere like super cheap ones do.
