I’m pretty handy around the house so when the bathroom light switch stopped working and we were left peeing in the dark I bought a new one and replaced it myself. Except now the bathroom light is stuck “on” and none of the upstairs bedroom lights work.
I was pretty surprised to find 3 lives in the switch so I photographed it and replicated the wiring exactly. So I really don’t understand what has happened and I’m starting to panic we’re all going to die in our beds Shock
Am I over reacting? Or are we going to be on the news tomorrow?

May I suggest you turn it off at the fuse box & get someone qualified to come & have a look at it?

We had the same issue and fixed it ourselves, it's a case of trial and error, but my DH does work with electricity for a living so was confident in doing it. I don't think your house will burn down tonight, but I would get it professionally fixed.
