No Christmas acknowledgement in workplace...

Just that really, its as if its any other working week. I work flexibly from home as do the 25 colleagues who also work for the organisation.

Last year, we had a Christmas evening out, which was for clients and others around 30 people, just drinks in a pub but a fun evening and you could stay all evening or just for 1. The first drink was paid for and then additional drinks you just bought your own. All fine, from my boss I received a verbal thank you and a bottle of Aldi prosecco. Again, a nice gesture and not overly costly.

This year absolutley diddley squat. No evening out, someone tried to arrange one and the MD advised to hold off as plans were being made for something else, but nothing has transpired.

Some people have had a quick lunchtime drink with the MD, but I've had nothing not even an email. Now, I do know this is an oversight but it still does feel rather crap.
