Of course I'm bu , I'm not really suggesting it but it's like some people take great pleasure in being annoying.
For example annoying much younger work colleague today I wanted to slap him silly . He will not par take in brew rounds he will always except a brew but will hardly ever offer even when suggest /told will blankly refuse . Also does less work than everyone else refuses to do certain tasks and just basically thinks he's entitled to do f** all and thinks he's clever for annoying us and getting away with it . I basically told him this today but he thought it was hilarious. He's a good 20 odd years younger than me , I would never behave like that with colleagues same age / younger /older but definitely not older . I just want to rant Angry!!
Tomorrow I will not give him the time of day unless necessary.
Anyone else want to share who has annoyed them today ?

He's very... trusting... isn't he? I mean anyone could put anything in the little turd's tea... soggy lettuce leaf, piece of bread, salt, anything.

I do not condone this of course. But it's a lovely thought.

Don't give me ideas GrinHmm

Refuse to make him a drink. Just airily say that you presume that he prefers this as he never offers.

HollowTalk · 18/12/2018 19:54

Why would you make tea for someone who doesn't do the same for you? Assume he doesn't want to be involved in tea rounds and make for yourself and others who want to be involved.

As far as his work's concerned, you need to keep your line manager informed because they can get rid of him within the first two years.

Sparrowlegs248 · 18/12/2018 19:56

Stop making him tea. Or make it really unpleasant.

abbsisspartacus · 18/12/2018 19:58

Yes to lettuce in his tea make sure it's sunk below the surface so he drinks till it touches him unexpectedly

user10001999 · 18/12/2018 20:00

I hardly ever make him tea the others do because are too nice don't like to leave him out . Although they are loosing patience with him . As regards to the work as they say give him enough rope he will hang himself . He is just so smug and cocky he probably wouldn't care if was fired .

He sounds like a bit of an idiot but what does being 20 years younger than you have to do with anything?

user10001999 · 18/12/2018 20:10

@crazycatgal I wasn't being ageist just that he's in late teens . I suppose I'm saying when I was his age I was probably scared of upsetting someone 20 years older than me not being all cocky with know it all attitude.

Don't slap him silly. Send him to the naughty step

starzig · 18/12/2018 20:50

Tea round? Is that really a thing? How do you all get time for a cup of tea at the same time?

user10001999 · 18/12/2018 21:13

@starzig
Seriously Hmm
Missing point entirely.

Erm, don’t make him a tea in future? You sound about 10 so no wonder he laughed
