Illegal website

So I think I found an image on google images that showed a link to an illegal website involving children. I obviously didn’t click onto the website and reported it to the Iwf. I left my email address and asked for an update and then next day I got an email back saying that the link was investigated and nothing ass found that could be reliably identified as child abuse and that nothing can be done from now. So my question is, should I just let it go? I’ve reported it and it’s been investigated so there’s nothing more I can do? It’s just really upset me x

Possibly but the description of the link has just really upset me. But iwf are in sure using highest technology to identify these websites so I’m hoping i was wrong

It would be unusual to find such websites through google and ‘normal’ IE or Safari etc, as they tend to be on the dark web for which you need specific software to be able to get to and don’t carry .com addresses.

That said if you think you need to further it, then contact someone within your local police who deals with this kind of stuff and leave it with them.
