How do i completely shut down my hotmail account?

My abusive stbxh has hacked it and i want it shut down.

If i close it in a normal way it takes 3 months and it has to remain totally dormant in that time.

I have been to the police. They are not interested.

Please, please can anyone help?

If you still have access to it, change the password so your ex can’t access it. Then leave it dormant.

Have you tried contacting Hotmail directly?

change the password and leave it alone.

Change the password to
FOTTFSOFATFOSM

Or something to that effect
