We are tenants. Ndn owner. Posted before about wall issues (nds issues not ours)
Basically ndn wanted and indeed - started - knocking down 'our' wall!! I rang ll and maintenance man spoke to ndn and was told to stop immediately.
To clarify house is listed, wall doesn't fall into listed category according to Heritage office.
Ndn insisted wall was his until owner got involved.
Ndn wanted wall to be knocked down half way - currently about 8 foot - but to maintain privacy (Confused). We moved here specifically so ddogs can't escape.
We protested to ll wall had to stay or we really couldn't.
Wall was reduced by a foot or 2 to rectify mess ndn had made. Fencing /trellis panels have been put up to the height of the original wall.
Ndn has complained to the council!
Says we need planning permission.
We don't as existing wall was built prior to building regs and we have just replaced brick with fence to same height anyway!
Am I being unreasonable to want to stuff our real Christmas tree up ndn's arse??
Who starts this shit and keeps it going when he won't fucking win??

Name change fail

Tell the planning officer that if the trellis is a problem, you'll be quite happy to make good the wall & restore it to it's former glory...

Santaispackinghissleigh · 18/12/2018 11:02

Have researched about old property (140 at least) and you can make good to the original height without planning.
Ndn is adamant the council said he can reduce the wall to 6 foot and he just about convinced our builder to do it!!
