... being pronounced Bregg-zit instead of Brek-sit. If I have to hear it 469 times every day the least the pundits and politicians could do is not pronounce it in the most irritating way possible.

Yes, annoys me too. I heard someone on tv the other day - can't remember who, but a politician - pronounce it Bregg-zits, so an extra s on the end for some reason.

Is it going to be acceptable soon to pronounce x as a g in all words?

Soon we'll all be celebrating Eggsmass instead of Xmas.

Eggsmass…maybe that will catch on as the new name for Easter
