AIBU to see the doctor about my toe

My toe has been hurting for over a week. It's just one toe and it's painful to walk on, worse with bare feet but still painful with shoes. It's such a small thing but should I ask the doctor. There's no marks or anything on it

I would try and see your podiatrist. Some trusts you can self refer so you wouldn't have to see the doctor.

How would I go about that? I have freibergs toe anyway so not sure what the implications are with the other toes on that foot. Is it worth the hassle of getting looked at?

Which toe is it, have you knocked it or banged into something

Yes you should go and see your doctor, get an X-ray and a referral to an orthopaedic foot specialist

What's your local NHS hospital? Google them and see if there is a page for AHP podiatry

It's the one next to the little one, don't remember banging it or anything. It looks perfectly fine

That's what a doctor is there for! Personally I'd go, but make a non emergency appointment (which will probably be in 3 weeks anyway!) and see how it is in the mean time. If it's still that painful in 3 weeks or so, I think you should have it looked at.
