You are looking for show/musical/gig tickets..(what on earth did you think I was going to say!?)
Did you know that online ticket companies keep track on what you search for? And falsely claim that tickets are near sold out in order to direct you to other sites that hike their prices up?
My recent example - buying tickets for a hairy bikers tour for DH's birthday - started searching on ticket master a few days ago - still a fair few available - not the best seats but reasonable prices. Thought - I’ll wait till pay day- I logged on a midnight and was shocked to see it showed as all sold out and ‘viagogo’ screamed into my screen saying that the “ONLY 4 TICKETS LEFT WERE GOING TO GO RIGHT NOOOOWWWW” for at least double the price of the ones on ticket master. It was going to cost at least £70 per ticket which I can’t afford. And that’s not even including the extortionate fees.
I was desperate for these tickets - I’d already bought my DH a book and wrote a message inside the cover that we were going so I needed them.
£150 of tickets in crappy seats were rushed into my basket, I was zombified by the urgency.
Then I thought of a friends advice - delete your browser history when buying plane tickets - I wondered if it would work for these too -
Low and behold - There were plenty left - I am £90 better off due to that one click of a button.
I didn't know this, if you didn't it may come useful one day
Happy weekend folks x
