I think it is getting worse, it never used to be this bad. All the demands and guilt inducing messages from school and parent reps about stuff at school. Tipped off by a one from the school about their charity and how the donations weren't big enough and it is for people worse off that ourselves.
they assume we all have plenty of money, some do in our area but that isn't the case for some of us. some of us are struggling just to afford living and it shouldn't be assumed we all have these excess donations, and time as well.
I don't remember it being like this as a child, you just went to school and that was it, not so much fuss.
