Backstory... Live in a corner of the country far from being cosmopolitan / corporate. I have a very corporate background. This job is for the most part exactly what I used to do, in fact my ex employer is one of their clients! I even have all the "extras" that they ask for.
I ended up going to some sort of "soft interview" a month ago as they said they were happy to show the agency around to show of it's the place anyone would like to work there. The lady that I say and I really liked each other, it turns out that I fit the agency and the agency is exactt what I'm looking for. Little did I know that she's the agency's new owner.
So fast forward to applying for the job, got a reply within 48 hrs (I had to apply through an agency but it was her that got in touch).
I'm nervous but more than that I'm excited. I oscillate between this being a real interview but that the only reason I wouldn't get it is because there's actually somebody better than me or that the whole job interview is just a formality and that the job is practically mine. As you can tell I really want this job
