I went into work after my days off and there was a big poster on office door for secret santa with all staffs names on apart from mine. I was obviously upset. Manager wasn't in and the only other staff was a girl I have history with, who I suspect did it cos it looks like her writing.
Anyway with one thing and another haven't seen mgr (who's name is on it as well as dmgr) and in the meantime they've all picked and ticked.
First opportunity to see mgr was monday, she said she could understand why I'd be upset she would too and she offered to put my name on? I said it was a bit late for that now, so she said she would spk to the girls concerned but wouldn't tell me who it was. I'm more than upset now I'm fckin angry, I've had no feedback and AIBU to think that
a) mgr should have checked all staff members included before it went up
b) took it down or at least moved it

I feel like ripping it down and every time I see it I'm getting wound up :(

I get you're upset, I would be too, but why don't you just purchase yourself a nice gift, wrap it up and put it with the other SS gifts, then when the day comes to open, you'll have the best, most personal gift of the lot.

I know it's hard to rise above, but as you point out it's too late to add your name for someone else to tick.
