To feel like I'm failing life

I'll keep it quite brief but essentially I have a professional career and my husband has a service type job on less money and does a higher percentage of childcare. We have spent our 15 years together struggling financially, we don't own a house, don't have a jot of savings, have large debts and it seems have no way out of this whilst we have 2 small children. We have no money left at the end of the month to even afford food. I work really hard, our combined income is over 50k but debts from the childcare years and mat leave etc whilst working in low paid roles whilst qualifying mean that we hardly see a penny. I'm mid 30s and dh 40. I'm so worried for the future. AIBU to be so concerned or is it like this for many others?

You are not failing!

Can you post your outgoings? These are quite some wages so maybe there is something what can be cut down to make bigger food budget. Also how much are your payments re the debt?

*good wages, but obviously depending on where you are in the uk.
