To text my hairdresser?

I've used the same mobile hairdresser for about 10 years. I've always liked the ways she's coloured and cut it.
Had my hair coloured this morning and I really dislike the colour! I asked for it to be blonde with dark bits through it but it's just really really blonde.
AIBU to text her and ask her to come back and darken it a bit? How can I do it without sounding like an arse?
It's first world problems I know Blush

She wouldnt want you to be unhappy with it, so message her!

I would but I'd keep it really lighthearted, something like 'Hi hairdresser, just been having s look at my hair and it's ended up a bit lighter this time, would you come back and pop some darker bits in it for me?'

I'm sure she'll say yes

Yes just message her and say it's not quite how you wanted it, she is an experienced hairdresser it won't be the first (or last) time it has happened. I'm sure she would rather you were happy with your hair

Thanks for your replies. I guess I need to stop being a baby and just message her. I’ll do it in the morning!

You’ve paid her for a service and despite your close relationship you’re still a customer. It would be fine to drop her a message saying

‘hi Name, thanks again for the colour yesterday, always lovely to see you. It’s really nice but now a bit of time has passed I think it might be a bit too blonde and not really ‘me’ - Could we arrange another time to darken it slightly?’

All of these.

I'd expect to pay for the second treatment though. Maybe with discount or maybe not.
