Baby monitor

Know this isn't aibu did put this in baby but no responses would apreciate other parents opinions.

Looking for recommendations on a decent baby monitor.

Have been looking at the under matress angelcare monitor.
Any experience with this model?
Did you actually need one?
Any models you loved?
Did having one put you at ease or make you worry/check more?

Used the angel care, sound movement & video monitor. Gave me so much reassurance. It's been through 2 babies & is still perfect. I got the sound & video version for DC1 when DC2 was born so they'd both have one, even though he was 3 years old!!!
