To ask if a fitbit comes with a charger?

Surely it does. But then why can I buy one separately? But the flipping thing is so expensive that it must come with a charger? I'm so confused (not envy) please tell me - to buy a separate charger or not!!

Each one I have bought has come with a USB charging wire. No plug though

My Fitbit Alta came with a charger. Perhaps some people lose or break the original one.

Yes, mine camd with an usb charger. You can buy replacements chargers for people like me who have a tendency to leave them in hotel rooms etc

Pretty sure they all come with a charger. I just bought a new one and it did. Just the charger lead though - no plug but I just plug into any USB port.

The Fitbit charge 2 (and probably the others) has a kind of claw shaped end that grips around the screen. It’s not a standard micro USB to USB charger.

Fitbit chargers can break easily.

I wouldn't recommend plugging the usb into a sock plug adaptor though, it can fry your Fitbit.

You can buy the charger cable and 'claw' fitting really easily, from about a fiver!

Yep they come with a special cable (but no wall plug). I bought an extra one so I can keep one at work and one at home as sometimes it's more convenient to charge it at work.

Correction: You can buy ALL of the fitbit charging cables quite easily. Decent looking ones from about a fiver!

Yep you get. USB charger I plug it in using the plug I use for my kindle charger.

You can just plug it into a laptop, desktop/Mac or even the USB port on the back of a tv or in your car?

I used to mean "ugh what is going on and why can I not figure this out". It may not be the common usage though!

USB charger wire, wires are also sold in case it breaks, just like any part really

You can charge it on a laptop or via a USB port, in car or wherever, or with a plug. I plug mine into the Iphone plug thing
