To think this is very cheeky!

I am on a Mum whatsapp group. About 12 Mums with kids in the same year group, we all know each other on varying levels, some well and some not so much.

A mum messaged the group to ask if anyone would fancy taking the kids bowling after school on the thursday before they break up as there is a deal on with bowling & food.

She has then said she couldn't actually get there til 5pm so if someone can take her child, she would get there then near the end.

I can't believe her cheek to be honest. She isn't organising a nice Christmas event, she is asking someone to take her child out for her.

If the kids are old enough to socialise nicely together while the parents have a chat and a coffee I'd say she's not being cheeky, she just wants her child to be part of a fun get together and has found a good offer for you all. If they're older Primary or secondary it wouldn't bother me to take her child along.

If they're little Primary kids that's different. They need more close supervision, taking to the loo etc

Of course she's being cheeky. She's after childcare and selling it as a Christmas treat.
