I have applied for a job over the past few months, in that process I had a telephone interview, and then had to do some online tests. A couple of weeks ago the recruiter contacted me to remind me to compete all the online tests (as you only had a week to do them) as it was showing that I had not done one of them. I contacted them to say that I had completed them all the previous week and the said they may have been experiencing technical difficulties.
The assessment day centre day is now approaching, and I have not heard anything.
Am I right in thinking if they were calling people to just tell them that they need to finish an online test, that they would call to let me know if I would be proceeding to the assessment day which is in a weeks time?
How should I go about contacting them, should I explain the situation with the confusion of my completion of the tests?
My partner thinks that I shouldn't and at if they wanted me for the day interviews they would ring me.
But things can go wrong , can't they? (Wishful thinking)...

Just ring them and ask if you are progressing to the next stage. Nothing wrong with asking them and as an ex recruiter yes things go wrong and good applicants can be missed etc
