To give her my advice

My friend had a extreme prem baby, she is now 3 months old, has a few breathing problems but generally well.
Friend is planning to wean her now, as she has head control.. She isnt telling her HV. I told her I think she should wait but she said she thinks she is ready, and it'll make her sleep better?
Shall I give her my advice to wait till she is 6 months even if this means friend might not speak to me for a while as she is a very offended type of person

Yes! Unless advised by a doctor or HV she shouldn't be weaning at this stage.

No you should not give her "your" advice, as often very prem babies are advised to be much earlier. Instead I would advise her to speak to her HV or pediatric team if the baby is still under their care to check that it's the right thing to do.

Can you ring her Dr surgery and leave a message for her hv? Say you have concerns, she can be descreet!!
Likely your friend won't thank you for advice.
Or send her some links regarding weaning without an actual conversation irl!!
