AIBU to not bother with Christmas cards?

Just that! I can't be bothered with the faff of buying and writing them but I feel guilty if we get sent any. I need to know I'm not in the minority if I don't bother!

Just say you're giving to charity instead; loads of ppl do that now.

YANBU, we don't send many cards. If someone is a close friend or family, we see them at Christmas. If they arent close friends, they probably aren't bothered about getting a multipack christmas card from me.

I'm not bothering with cards. I usually really enjoy the build up to Christmas, the preparation etc but this year with a 4yo, a newborn baby and PND I'm finding it all a bit overwhelming and cutting corners wherever I can.

YANBU not to send them, but if you decide to give to charity instead, there's no need to announce it. Just say you have decided not to send cards this year and leave it at that.

I will say that you could consider making an exception for anyone who might really appreciate one - e.g. lonely relative/neighbour.
