yuk... I'm always glad when they leave the shit ones out. More room for the nice ones

singingmum · 23/06/2007 15:08

YANBU. Perfectly reasonable to be annoyed.
We all like those ones in this house but their is never enough in boxes or tins.Drives us nuts.We actually have those before when not enough so dc's can't argue.

isaidno · 23/06/2007 15:09

I would be pleased to have no yucky soft centres!

PersonalClown · 23/06/2007 15:09

And why don't they makes large ones?
They dod the big purple, the green (does anyone actually eat those ones? and orange crunch which is just wrong!
The best present I ever got was from a boyfriend years ago. My valentines day present was a heart shaped tine with just strawberry and orange cremes! He'd bought boxes of Roses just to get my favourites.

j20baby · 23/06/2007 15:19

thats a brill present!

they do do the horrible purple ones with nuts, do you want them?

hey, whoever doesn't like the strawberry and orange, send them this way!

hairybum - are you UCM????

oh personalclown, its stupid quality street what does them big ones isn't it? sorry, didn't read your post properly!

OP posts:
PersonalClown · 23/06/2007 15:22

Ask them to send me some. I'm not hormonal so feel a bit cheeky for asking.
I get 2 large tins at Christmas and sort them out into ones I like and ones I don't. My parents get the ones I don't. I can't stand the purple ones

smallone · 23/06/2007 15:24

Nooooo IMO they should do a "soft centres" only box!

If you do complain and get free chocs let me know - I'll be there faster than you can say "thankyou very much for my soft centres....."

PersonalClown · 23/06/2007 15:26

Remember the uproar when Roses tried to get rid of the soft centres?
I'd have bought shares in Quality street if they did.
Soft centres are the best!

j20baby · 23/06/2007 15:27

i will try and find an email for them to have a moan, will let you all know if i get a response

{{mumbles to herself 'only after eating them all, i'm not sharing, oh no!'}}

SoupDragon · 23/06/2007 15:28

I would be delighted. They're foul.

PersonalClown · 23/06/2007 15:29

Remember to send them my way at Christmas, Soupy! I'll happily take them off your hands

j20baby · 23/06/2007 15:30

and, just found one with the wrapper on inside out! don't care, cos i'm not eating the boring toffee ones anyway!

OP posts:
IAmADaddy · 23/06/2007 15:31

Roses are rubbish anyway. Buy Quality Street instead.

Oh hang on, then you get too many bloody toffee ones...

smallone · 23/06/2007 15:36

Aha I think I may be formulating a plan for a choc exchange! Send all your chocs to me and I will sort them into categories and then send them back out according to taste (after taxing a few, and I'll have to check that they aren't poisoned etc...)

PersonalClown · 23/06/2007 15:37

I like the toffee fingers. But the Pennies are just evil, they are designed to damage teeth.

PersonalClown · 23/06/2007 15:38

No chance Smallone. I don't give up my chocolate up for no-one. Not even ds, he can get his own.!

j20baby · 23/06/2007 15:38

smallone

quality street are rubbish, apart from the strawberry and orange softy's!

anyway, Asda had a biggish box of Roses for £2 rolled back from £3.36 or something, it would have been rude not to purchase at least 1 box!

hmm, can't find an email address, only a postal one, may write to them.
