Can’t get a great pic, is this an abscess on my lower gum? It’s bloody painful or is it a mouth ulcer? It’s a yellow lump. Have lichen planus which is sore anyway but this is horrible.

From my experience, if you have an abscess, you'd be in severe and unrelenting pain.

i used to be plagued with them but think i was really run down physically.

are you in good health?

If you get them often take folic acid as mouth ulcers can be a sign of folic acid deficiency

Every time I get mouth ulcers, I'm tired, run down and not looking after myself.

Try to get more sleep (don't know you and this may not be possible)

Vitamin C and iron or a good multivitamin might help.

Anbesol. Anbesol liquid, which can be put directly onto the area with a cotton bud.

I find Bonjela just slides off.

No awful health, liver disease, lupus, etc take all the vitamins but still deficient. I am very run down and unable to sleep so probably a big part!

Bit worried now as I had a mouth ulcer on my tounge 18 months ago and that I we cancerous.
