to ask for a hand hold - anxiety

No idea why but my anxiety feels like it's through the roof.

It all started over seeing other people's beautiful Christmas trees and feeling ours looked rubbish in comparison.

Now I'm freaking out about school holidays and family time.

I hate HATE HATE this feeling.

Have you been to the GP?

I’m sure your Christmas tree is lovely. Don’t get put off by all the insta/ Facebook trees.

We only got a mini one this year, so it’s no showstopper but it’s ours and I love it.Grin

Are you hosting Christmas this year? Flowers

Perfect I suffer from anxiety and depression as par for the course but I feel it has all snowballed.... Fucking ridiculous really.

I love our tree - this was it a few years back but after seeing so many full and bushy ones I just feel deflated. It's the first time DS really gets christmas - he's just turned 4.

We always do christmas at home just the three of us. Christmas at IL's the weekend before (22nd/23rd) , back home 23rd. Christmas Eve at home with panto for DS. Christmas day at home. My parents to us Boxing day

OP that tree and little boy are gorgeous ❤️ Could be on the front of a Christmas card.

I know you suffer from anxiety, I remember your other threads and I'm sorry you're feeling particularly bad today.

4 is a gorgeous age at Christmas, my favourite actually, I hope you can have a lovely one this time.

My anxiety is quite bad at the moment so I know how you feel, I’m lucky though that it seems to get worse at night then by the morning I have it together.

Are you on any medication? Do you have support from friends/ family?

Sounds like you have a busy Xmas planned! I would like to have Xmas just the three of us, but we always end up cooking for our families as DH is a chef.

I love the tree btw. Smile

Thanks Great xx

Just feeling breathless, tingly... on edge. Ridiculous I know.

I don't have any propanolol with me otherwise I would have taken some... And that in itself is making me anxious... vicious cycle.

I know it will pass. I just feel crap/

Just to say... That photo is from last year/year before... It's not even out of the cupboard of doom yet

Can you ring the GP for a prescription today?

cjt110 · 03/12/2018 11:34

I've got some at home great but can't get out and back again.

Just ordered a plain garland to bulk out my tree. Now need something to assist with snow...
