To ask how the hell to get this off my floor?

Decorator has, for some unfathomable reason, used double sided sticky tape to tape off my dark laminate floor before painting the skirting. He’s uncontactable until later next week and I need this stuff off my floor ASAP! Obviously trying to peel it off isn’t working, it’s really gummy and and is refusing to budge!

Help?!?

Try heating it with a hairdryer first. It may peel off easier. Also anything oily like baby oil usually softens adhesive. You could then wash with washing up liquid.

Allegedly mayonnaise is good in this situation. I’d try it v cautiously in a corner!
