To not know Wtf my period doing

Normally 27 day cycle, 7 day period, heavyish.

Started on day 21, have had five days so far of v light brown period, barely enough to need a pad at all

I’m fed up and on nights this weekend, is this just a weird light period or is this not even a period and is the real thing about to start (joy). Any ideas?

Not on contraception. Don’t think I can be pregnant as boyfriend has had vasectomy!

How old are you? This is very common during peri-menopause.

I get this, Im 44 and have been peri menopausal for over a year

I’m 38! My mum didnt go through menopause till 55ish.

All I really want to know is am I gonna have another 7 days of period after this week cause I’m missing sex and feeling grumpy!

I’ve just started HRT at 44 to help with the symptoms. One being no sex drive, night flushes, brain fog, sleep issues, headaches, vaginal atrophy, hip pain.

Hmm. I'd do a pregnancy test just to be sure.

As someone else said, it could be the start of the peri-menopause, it seemed to drag on forever for me. Far worse than the menopause in my experience.

I've had this once was 4 days of barely anything and that was it for the month no real period hurrah

it's heavy now. day 6. on night shifts and have had a very stressfulmonth, so maybe that's put it out of whack. Hope it doesn't last 10 days or anythig... ugh.

and I'm not ready to contemplate menopausal things yet!!

Mine did this - turns out i have a fibroid - think the light bleeding first is to do with that then it's very heavy for a few days.
