To be annoyed at the nursery

My daughter is just under the 3 and is going through the why stage. She now keeps saying "stop saying why!" I have asked her where she has her heard this and she said she gets told it at nursery. I know it can be very annoying to be asked why all the time but surely this is a stage that she should be able to go through without being told to stop. AIBU to take this up with the nursery and how would you go about it?

Ha ha, I think it depend on what kind of "why" she is asking.
Asking "Why is the sky blue?" is something that adults shouldn't ignore.
But it's totally different if she asks why for everything that they do at nursery.

My ds used to do it at the age, he thought it was funny.
"Let's go outside" "why?"
"Lets get changed" "why?"
"Let's go to bed" "why?"
Drive you bonkers.
