Cheapest place to buy kids pyjamas?

OkToday · 28/11/2018 10:28

Where is the cheapest place to buy kids pyjamas? I went into Sainsbury's as they had 25% off but they were still £14 for a pack of 2. Asda where £12 for one pair I can't afford to spend that on pyjamas but I do need to buy my youngest two some new ones. Two pairs each will do it a pair to wear and a pair in the wash/spare. So where is the cheapest place? I don't brave Primark often once a year if that as the crowds set my anxiety off but I will go there is it is the cheapest, does anybody know the price of a 2 pack in there? Age 8-9 boy and age 7-8 girl only mention their age as I know they divide their clothes into 3 age sections. Thanks

Character.com is brilliant for pjs & free delivery over £25 i think.

Peacocks are good as well.

Ebay - you can usually pick up second hand bundles for pretty low prices.

Thank you I will look at the shops mentioned, I think eBay is out for me I am a bit behind the times and don't have PayPal.

Supermarkets have them for £5. Or ebay bundles.

Character.com have shopkins pjs 7-8 for under £2

OkToday · 28/11/2018 10:46

Thanks for the tip my daughter loves Shopkins as most 7 year olds do. What supermarket sell the £5 pairs please? Click and collect is usually free I can do a pair each this week and next and not worry about delivery cost which would be ideal.

Most of them have PJs for around the £5 mark, and if (like my DC) yours prefer short sleeved, many have their summer designs on sale at the moment - I picked up some for DD for £3ish a set earlier this week.

Tesco don't have theirs online but have some this week, and there are several in Asda online in your dc sizes eg £6

Thank you NeedMoreSleepOrSugar that is very helpful.

Peacocks

AlbusPercival · 28/11/2018 11:52

Character.com also have 25% off everything with gift25

maddening · 28/11/2018 11:54

Alot of ebay bundles are local pickup anyway so you can pay cash on collection

Unihorn · 28/11/2018 11:54

Peacocks and Primark. I always used to thinl supermarket pyjamas were cheap but like you have found them for £10-15 for one or two pairs which is still too much. I think Primark are around £7 for two pairs.

sheswhat · 28/11/2018 11:55

The discount at sainsburys comes off at the till

NancyDonahue · 28/11/2018 11:56

Asda usually have a pack of 3 for the £15 mark. Lovely smooth cotton that is warm but not stuffy.

halcyondays · 28/11/2018 11:56

You can usually use debit cards on eBay, so you may not need Paypal.

halcyondays · 28/11/2018 11:57

If you do want to try Primark, if you can go to a smaller branch or go first thing in the morning it mightn't be so crowded.

OkToday · 28/11/2018 11:58

When did pyjamas get so expensive? Or maybe they haven't and I am just more skint lol

OP posts:
halcyondays · 28/11/2018 11:59

Do you need them right now or want them for Xmas? if not, lots of them will be in the sale straight after Xmas.

OkToday · 28/11/2018 12:00

Thinks for the early morning tip with Primark £7 for 2 pairs is my cheapest option I think. Peacocks look good to and ok priced but we don't have one anywhere near where I live and don't want the added expensive of delivery and not spending enough for free delivery.

Primark is good for PJs. They have fluffy fleecy ones, or traditional brush cotton shirt type.

OkToday · 28/11/2018 12:02

I need them for them to wear now unfortunately, been meaning to replace for a while but there is always something that needs money. Dd last pair ripped last night as they were worn out she can wear ds spare pair for tonight and I will brave Primark in the morning.

Asda has some 3 packs for £11.

Tawdrylocalbrouhaha · 28/11/2018 12:03

ASDA normally has 2-packs much cheaper than the ones you saw, and pretty good quality. I'd say have another look there.

Hermie12 · 28/11/2018 12:07

Lidl PJs and onesies £4.99 each if they still have stock. Quality is always great

bobstersmum · 28/11/2018 12:11

Definitely get PayPal! My boys go through clothes so fast that I buy lots of bundles to bulk up their wardrobe. Otherwise have you looked at studio?

melmo26 · 28/11/2018 14:44

Have you a home bargains near you? They do great kids pjs for good prices. £2.99 for 1 pair of pyjamas, lots of styles and character ones too.
