I need the collective genius of mumsnet so I am posting here for traffic. Can anyone help identify these toys. I have had them since early childhood so they are 70's. They came with hair on, the one with no hair had his hair removed because I preferred him like that. I had a dog shaped one when I was young who meant the world to me and when I lost him I was devastated and I am hoping I may be able to track one down. I have tried searching for them but don't know where to start.

raul trolls?

Happypie · 28/11/2018 09:35

Do they have any writing on them?

sayitisntsojo · 28/11/2018 09:42

The only writing is on one foot of the bear it says made in England and the other has a number.

I am a mess of tears. Losing my 'Noo Noo' was one of the most traumatic things I had ever experienced. He fell out of the car when travelling when I was about 10. I had never slept without him and have missed him so much since! Thank you so much. I know what I am asking for for Christmas

There's a shop where I live in Liskeard called Vintage 72. They sell all sorts of different vintage toys. They are on Facebook, you should ask if they have any or can source them for you.

Aw, this has brought back memories! I had the orange furry rabitty / squirrelly one. With real rabbit fur I think? I loved it, used to sleep with it and chew it's ears!!! Hope you find a replacement...

Just looked on ebay and there are loads and one just like the one I had. But for almost £25!!!!! Wish I still had mine...

sayitisntsojo · 28/11/2018 17:51

@GottaGoGottaGo I have ordered 2 from eBay. One is going to stay as is and the other I am going to take the hair off, like my original one had. He also had his right hand chewed off so I could smell the 'Noo-Noo smell'!

@sayitisntso Aw, that's fab and haha, I know EXACTLY what smell you mean from the plastic! Hope your new one smells just the same. Smile

sayitisntsojo · 06/12/2018 21:43

It's my birthday today and I got the greatest gift ever. He smells just right and I have cried and cried over this silly bit of plastic today!
