Sampling showroom assistant job - Chelsea
Part time 3 days a week
Weekday only
I have about 6 months experience working for a different showroom (not London based but same industry)
I know what I earned in my previous showroom assistant job but wonder what the hourly rate is for this type of job in London.
Any help? Thanks x

What is a sampling showroom assistant ??

ConfusedBrexitLady · 26/11/2018 15:46

It's basically for an interior design company in Chelsea that stocks wallpapers/fabrics
The job is to advise on design if needed and
Usual showroom jobs including putting sample packages together, sortin orders etc. It's for a high end business.

Confused.... is the salary not on the job advert?

ConfusedBrexitLady · 27/11/2018 18:15

No it is not. It says salary depends on experience but negotiable.

I would go off your previous salary and add maybe 1500-2000 for your experience and a pay rise is acceptable in new job? This is just what I’d do so no science behind it. I’m also cheeky so I would work out the highest they will go to then work down.

I think London weighting is more like £4K. Can you go on a website like Reed and see if there are any similar roles nearby to get an idea of salary range?
