More talk about Kim Cattrell refusing to make a third film.

Seriously, this series has had its day. It was all about four young, single, glamorous career women living it up in New York. Now all of the characters are middle aged, three of them are married, two of them are mothers and the premise no longer works.

AIBU to think that the last abysmal film really proved that SATC has had its day and should be left to rest in peace?

God, yes. The first one was bad enough but the second one was total dross. I cringed through the whole thing.

YANBU, I couldn't even finish the last movie. It really sours the memory of the show.

I agree. The second one was so desperately awful, they don’t deserve the opportunity to make a third. God bless Kim Cattral for saving us from such a monstrosity.

I loved that series at the time. Absolutely loved it. Cried on the very last episode. There should never have been any films. It should have been left where it was as a museum period piece of it's era. The world has moved on and I don't think there's a place for it any more.
Plus, you know, that deceased nag has been well over flogged already...

YANBU. Second film was an abomination and Kim Cattrell I reckon only did it because she was contractually obliged and they made a fool of her

I cant think why they would dp that. SJP is in Divorce now 2hich is great. I dont know what happened to Charlotte but the other three seem very busy people. It will never happen.

How on earth is this back in the spotlight ?

I think a podcast has been released with some of the cast and the Director talking about why the third movie can't go ahead.

Mr Big said the third script is superior. I’d watch it!
