To Expect Clubcard Reward Vouchers To Be Valid Longer?

Got a shock today when an e mail informed me that I have to use my vouchers by 11th Dec - only ordered them in June! 2 are for local theme parks, one of which I’m pretty sure is closed in winter. I have a Pizza Express one which we planned to pay for DD’s Birthday meal with but that is after the expiry date. Why can’t Tesco put a longer time on these rewards? I will hopefully fit in a meal at Ask & a spa treatment which is very much needed atm!

Half a year is reasonable. It states the expiry date when you order them.

I think you’re being unreasonable on this one, sorry. You don’t have to order them right away.

You get 2 years to use the vouchers and then six months, it sounds like, once you've converted them to a particular deal, which you would only do when actually planning to use them. T&Cs are clearly stated. How long do you think you need? Companies often leave the scheme so they won't want unused vouchers being out there for years on end.

You could always ask tesco to convert the vouchers back to points but I'm not sure that they will.

That's loads of time. I don't get mine until I'm planning to use them.

6 months is plenty just order them a few weeks before you need them. They have several years shelf life as Tesco club card vouchers so no
Worries on that front just convert as needed and check the small print !

They may convert them back. They did for me for eurotunnel. Ordered them then realised they have to be booked 2 weeks in advance so couldn't use them. Hung on planning to nip across but didn't. They kindly converted them back into points. Worth asking
