They must have a sense that they're scarce and will appreciate. Either they're right or wrong. It's not really your problem, is it?

Supply and demand - Kevin the carrot by any chance?

Knittedfairies · 25/11/2018 20:13

Depends what they’re selling I suppose; supply and demand and all that.

disneyspendingmoney · 25/11/2018 20:14

Basic capitalism isn't it.

Not cheeky at all... no one is being forced to buy them.

I was looking through my old Live Aid book yesterday, did a quick ebay search out of curiosity and a couple of sellers wanted over £150 for it, yet some were more reasonably around the £20 mark. Thats what confuses me, surely they look before listing?

BubblesBubblesBubbles · 25/11/2018 20:18

I’ve seen a few things on social media!

Kevin the carrot...well over £100 and people going mad and almost outbidding each other ffs
Lol surprise...(£65 a few weeks ago people asking £165 Hmm)
Amazon tablet...

The list is endless really

An E Type Jag was about £2500 new, today a good one will cost you £125K. And Van Gogh couldn't give his stuff away when he was alive!

PositiveVibez · 25/11/2018 20:22

Seen this loads on eBay. You can actually buy new on Amazon for cheaper sometimes or a couple of quid more with a guarantee that if anything goes wrong with it, it can be returned.

I don't think people who sell this second hand stuff are cheeky. I tend to think they're a bit stupid.
