Boring post alert. Have new Huawei phone and I'm buggered if I can get my bloody fitbit to pair to it ! Keep going through the motions but phone just won't connect. Its not paired to any other device. Any words of wisdom please ? Have I made a mistake going with Huawei rather than sticking with my reliable Samsung ! Only did it because I got a good cheaper offer ! Yawn. Sorry. And thanks in advance for tips. X

Was the fitbit previously paired to the Samsung? If so, have you tried resetting it (the fitbit)?

I've just unpaired from my Samsung but still nothing. Presumably that's the same as resetting ? Blush

When you unpaired, did you do that on the Samsung or on the Fitbit? I would try a factory reset on the Fitbit, just to be sure. Which one (Fitbit) is it and which Huawei phone do you have?

Did it on the Samsung. Its a small Fitbit Alta and phone Huawei P Smart.

Is your Bluetooth on? Try switching it off and on a couple of times. I had to that with mine and I’ve the same as you Alta and P Smart

Ah, the Fitbit may still think it's paired to the Samsung. It looks like you can't do a factory reset on the Alta but you could try restarting it by following these instructions before pairing it again:

Good luck, without getting hands on with it, it's a little hard to trace the exact problem.
