AIBU - parking in parent and child

I'm eight months pregnant and suffering from terrible pelvic girdle pain. Walking is a real struggle. I went to the supermarket this morning and drove past plenty of empty parent and child spots.

WIBU if next time I parked in one? I don't need it for the space to get a pram in and out, obviously, but the close distance would be so helpful!

I wasn't sure how people would react.

Yeah- I’d say a heavily pregnant woman qualifies. I think our local supermarket actually has a pregnant lady on the sign..

Long time since I was pregnant but think Tesco sign used to have a pregnant woman on it..

MrsJamin · 24/11/2018 20:52

Yeah you absolutely qualify, go for it

Mondaytired · 24/11/2018 20:53

No issues here 👍

I think it's fine. Not just for less walking distance but also because it can be difficult to get a big bump out of the car in tight spaces.

I used to and simply declare i was parent and child rolled into one! crack on!
