Not the same as it's about real live animals.

We had a real problem with 2 of our boys, not about carrots but pigs. They both adore pigs and after the small holding that we used to live beside kept losing their (lovely brown) pigs into our paddock the boys met them and loved them so much they decided they wouldn't like to eat pigs at all.

We explained they were pet pigs (they were) and that it's different kinds of pigs we use for meat, that they were specially bred for eating. They soon started eating pork again, especially as they both love a good bacon sandwich every do often.

Try telling your ds they are different breeds of carrot, one for pets and one for eating and that Kevin understands.

(Or serve him 2 plates, one containing proper carrots and the other with some cotton wool, bits of orange material and some googly eyes on. Scar him for life.)

But Kevin is delivering carrots in order for them to eat! (In fact you will note from the advert, he risks his life to deliver them.)

Kevin will be upset if they don't eat them.
