Today, I started feeling movements like a baby kicking.

I can’t be pregnant. I got my period today, have not missed a single one and haven’t had sex in about 7 months.

I have a 9 month old baby and have lost nearly 3 stone since having him so there’s no way this is a concealed pregnancy.

What could it be? It feels just like kicks. I’m getting really disconcerted.

Wind?!

Bambamber · 23/11/2018 16:05

I had this exact same thing to the point I was constantly doing tests and even considered a private scan as i was so worried. For me it was wind and the general rumbling of my bowels

Merryoldgoat · 23/11/2018 16:08

It doesn’t FEEL like wind... I do get wind and it’s not normally like this but I’ll hope it’s that then!

Or in two months I’ll give birth to the Christ child (timely) Grin

HAHA, so glad you asked this, I'm the same - its definitey some movement in the bowels, either gas or solids...

but yeah, I took a test too, and have the implant, had periods - its a lil gas baby or poo baby!

Riddo · 23/11/2018 17:16

I still get that feeling sometimes and youngest DC is 18! It's wind. 🙂

Merryoldgoat · 23/11/2018 18:01

Ok, it’s subsided since a trip to the loo Blush

Thanks everyone

I get this sometimes. Definitely wind related.

Hi I had this too for a while after I had my baby and it is phantom kicks google it it really does feel like a baby

anotherneter · 23/11/2018 20:29

I had phantom kicks after both baby’s for quite some time. I really miss the kicks (would secretly love to have another baby but not happening 🙁).

JudasPrudy · 23/11/2018 20:33

Just phantom kicks! Totally normal.

costacoffeecup · 23/11/2018 20:46

I had this after my daughter too! Only for a couple of days mid cycle but every month. I remember being so convinced I did a pregnancy test even though I hadn't actually had sex since giving birth. I was a bit fuddled at that time I think 😂

mindutopia · 23/11/2018 20:48

It’s bowel spasms or wind. I’ve had this. It’s freaky and it feels just like a baby. But definitely was not a baby!

MrsRhubarb · 23/11/2018 20:51

I also had this once, over a couple of days, and I was totally paranoid. We wanted another, but weren't ready yet. I tested and all negative. The only other time I have felt that sensation was when I was pregnant though, so it was totally bizarre!

halfwitpicker · 23/11/2018 20:51

Lentils? Beans? Have you overdosed on the veg?

Merryoldgoat · 25/11/2018 01:15

Sooooo. I went out last night, had a bit to drink, nothing crazy. Got home and felt terrible. Spent an hour on the loo and the same this morning.

No more kicks - it was obviously the pre-hideous constipation movement I was feeling.

Fucking codeine.
