To keep trying to express milk?

I have been doing a mixture of expressing breast milk and giving formula for my son (2nd child) I did this for my daughter and stopped expressing at around 3 months. I'm 7 weeks in but my supply has dropped a lot.
Now that I have a toddler and a newborn I have no time to pump! I've been doing it twice a day and getting a fair amount out but all of a sudden it has dropped. Has anyone done this and got their supply back up? I'll be disappointed to stop but if it's not going to be possible I may have to.

Is there a reason why you're not feeding directly from breast out of curiosity?

My daughter couldn't latch so I ended up expressing for nearly a year. My supply would drop if I didn't pump regularly - I think you could try to increase it by pumping more regularly - used to work for me. I also used to pump once in the night after feeding the baby as that's supposed to really help with supply (summat to do with hormones, I can't remember now). So there are things you can do. Perhaps a double pump could help with cutting down the time you spend doing it?

HOWEVER I have always said I would never do all this if I had another - with a toddler I just don't think I'd have the time / inclination. Plus I went a bit first born batty with the expressing, I should have slept more instead of pumping for my own sanity.

So what i mean to say is don't beat yourself up it's just too much - you are trying your best!
