To be getting annoyed with the estate agents

We have lived in our private rented house for 4.5yrs. Our landlord has decided to sell up. House has been on the market for 3 months. Our landlord initially said he would only sell to an investor as he says we are good tenants. However, after 7 viewings an offer has been accepted from a couple who want to move in themselves. The survey has been completed and the buyers gave the estate agents (who are also our lettings agents) a long list of what they want fixing before they exchange contracts.
So far we've had the whole interior and exterior repainted(3 wks), gutters cleaned out, slates rehung and a tree surgeon around to carry out a survey on the trees in the garden that need chopping down. The agent rang up today to say a man from the Listed Buildings Office will be round on Friday to check out the velux windows at the back (the house is grade 2 listed) before the buyers instruct their solicitors to exchange.
Aibu to be getting annoyed at how often we are being bothered by the agents?
We understand that the house is being sold, we understand that we will get two months notice once contracts are exchanged, but I cannot understand why they think this is fair to us. We're going to lose our home. We have 3 children - one with severe anxiety who has been struggling to sleep with all the changes that keep happening.
We home educate all three children and we plan day trips each week, and each week I've had to change plans due to our unplanned 'visitors'. I thought that we as tenants have a right to a quiet peaceful tenancy?

You don’t have to agree to any of this but the LL will try to get all this stuff done whilst your still living there so there isn’t a gap in between losing the rent money and getting the sale money.

Tell the letting agent of the times your available.

The house has been on market for three months - why didn't you start looking for a new rental?

All the waves - as we were told it was being sold for investors only we didn't think we'd have to move, however as soon as the offer was accepted we started viewing other properties. However we need a 4 bed property and there aren't many around our area (+3 miles).
