To be annoyed a friend with a two seater car

Ok, I know I am. But..

A group of us regularly go out. Often 1/2 hr drive away to meet another friend half way. We alternate who drives so we can all have a chance to have a drink if we want. One of the group has replaced her car for a two seater and so can no longer share the driving and it annoys me a little. I can’t not offer her a lift as that would be extremely petty but it just doesn’t seem fair that she no longer has her turn.

As I said I know IABU so hit me with your worst!

Haha I can see why that would be annoying! But you're right you would BU to say anything. I think the only solution is buy your own two seater car Grin

Does she contribute towards petrol or at least buy you a drink?

oofadoofa · 21/11/2018 18:16

YANBU. But can’t she just drive your car?

Smallhorse · 21/11/2018 18:17

Yup. V annoying.

Tell the friend in a tongue-in-cheek way that when it's her turn she'll have to fund a taxi as you can't all fit in her car Grin.

I feel your pain

Have a couple of friends who refuse to drive and always want lifts but never offer return lifts / to pay for a taxi when we all share one
