To think we should be able to buy plain cotton socks

Everything seems to be treated with something, whether it’s “fresh feet technology” (whatever the hell that is), antibacterial agents or silver nano particles.
It’s a struggle to buy plain cotton socks these days!
Hello M&S, sainsburys, next etc.. we don’t want this awful stuff added to our clothes, it’s why we have washing machines and soap!!
We certainly don’t want it on our skin all day and we don’t need more things that hasten the threat of antiobiotic resistance.
Nothing wrong with plain old cotton!

Amen! I found some in Tesco the other week which were bamboo cotton and were gorgeous. Everything is like this now.

I'm moody and pre menstrual and liked things simple like when I was a kid in the 80's Grin pissed off as I can't even get bloody Alexa to do as she's told!

It seems to be a recent trend that’s become ubiquitous in the last couple of years.

I thought there might be more interest in socks in the run up to Christmas 🤷🏻‍♀️
