to make a fuss?

4 weeks PP tomorrow.

I tore upwards during childbirth. Only a very minor tear. Had a handful of small stitches.

Consultant said they'd take a few days to heal (yeah right!)

4 weeks later, stitches have healed, gynaecologist said they look fine (dissolved) and no wound left, but I'm still getting pain. Clitoris is sore and when I sit down or walk for too long I feel like blood is rushing to the area and building up, as if it's about to burst and there's a lot of painful pressure.

AIBU to be terrified my clitoris is damaged and to try and get someone to have another look to see where my pain is coming from?

I'm really worried about this considering it was such a small tear and gynae said it looks completely healed...

The only reason I feel like I need to make a fuss is because I didn't feel like I was taken seriously and am really worried I'm going to be in pain for a long time...

Definitely make a fuss. Doctors have a lot to juggle and will pay attention to the issues that are right under their nose and won't go away (there are 2 well known books by doctors that basically say the same thing). Sad but true.

You will only be heard if you make a fuss, so do and don't feel bad for it.
