AIBU or does my implant look strange?

I got my implant done on Monday and its been itching like crazy. The day after i got it done a red line came up, it's gotten worse and now looks like scar tissue. Is this normal?

Implant where, of what?

Is it an ichip? My swelling came up in the shape of Steve Jobs.

It’s a nexplanon contraceptive implant. I don’t know how to post a picture of it

And it’s on the inside of my upper left arm

Have you got the information leaflet to hand? I think some itching at the site is normal when it’s just inserted but it sounds like it might be worth checking out in the leaflet at least.

I've had the nexplanon before and itching and bruising is normal. With the redness just make sure it's not tracking

The leaflet says scaring can occur at point of insertion but mine runs the length of the implant
