Nc.
Motor home parked right outside my back garden?!
Light hearted- ish- life is too short and all that but it's irked me a bit!
It's appeared suddenly, and you can't see much else apart from it! Most of the windows in my house are at the back, only a kitchen window at the front and no side windows. So this is the view for every room now.

The space they've parked in is between houses at the end of a row of garages, so they've driven straight up the kerb onto the grass verge between the houses.

Are they allowed to park their motor home there? Are there rules?

Seems a bit odd and really don't like having them this close to all the windows!

You need to provide a diagram.

StoneofDestiny · 17/11/2018 20:09

And they've not parked outside the owners home because....?

Surfskatefamily · 17/11/2018 20:13

If its a grass verge that is a no parking area you could complain to council in the hope they will ticket. Id assume they will then move.
If its somewhere legal to park then theres nothing you can do about it and i guess id just move on.

Suerly your not allowed to park blocking public footpath

MrsStrowman · 17/11/2018 20:37

Have they just parked it there tonight because they got it out of storage and are going away tomorrow? If so I'd forgive it, Abby longer than that go and say something, they are blocking a public footpath

VelociraptorRex · 17/11/2018 20:40

Are there people actually in it, or have they just parked it and gone somewhere else??

Toddthesodd · 17/11/2018 21:11

There's nowhere near here to store something that size...
Quite often cars park on the grass verge and occasionally overlap the path but this ones covering the path meaning you'd have to walk on the grass to get around. Not exactly an obstruction just irritating.

It appears to be empty now, lights were on inside earlier

We didn’t buy a house once because the neighbour (semi detatched) had a really old caravan parked on his drive which had clearly been sat there years. We drove past the house last month (4 years after viewing the hiuse).....it’s still there.
