Lengthy background:

I have been in pain post op for 14 months - it is in my hip and radiates down my right leg. The pain is like a constant ache which can increase in severity and either stop me sleeping or wake me. But pain never goes. My right leg just does not feel like it is part of me. It restricts mobility ie I realised that I could not climb up onto a table right leg first. My gp made me lay flat and pushed my leg up and to the right - made me realise how bad things were plus it meant I was agony for a couple days after and no proper sleep. Pain killers do not work. Apparently -according to booking clerk - my area does not do mri anymore unless you do a minimum of 6 weeks of exercise first with a physo.

Aibu to think this is dangerous? I don’t know and the doctor did not know what is wrong? If just pushing my leg to right with my knee to my chest hurt what the hell is 6 weeks with a physo going to do?

I have a bmi of 21. I had to stop doing aerobics and depend instead on walking as it is least painful.
