To ask about your Mini Cooper/airbags?

How do you disable the front airbags? It's a Mini Cooper 2006 and I have no idea if I can do this myself or if I need to take to a dealer...

Mine has a dial the you can turn on the side of the dashboard inside of the passenger door

Some cars you cannot turn off the airbags. If this is for a child's car seat please look in your cars manual (Google for the manual if you don't have one) and also look on the car seat manufacturers website. Even if you can turn off the airbag it still may not mean you can put that particular seat or any car seat in the front. If it's nothing to do with car seats then ignore me!
