Give me a kick ... breast lump!

Give me a kick please. I THINK I may have found a lump in my breast. By as I check by second or third check it seems to go away! I work stupid full time hours in a super stressful job and getting time out to go to the docs is a chore!

Should I make an appointment to settle my mind? Anyone any experience of lumps that are there and then don’t seem to be?

Get checked. No ifs, no buts.

Get it checked. I got a lump checked a few years ago - was nothing, just a cyst but it put my mind at rest.

Just bloody get it checked. You'll have to take time off work.

Its probably nothing , especially as it appears to come and go/move but you need to know.

Go to the dr

Had a lump like this recently that seemed to come and go. I waited a couple of weeks to see if it was just hormonal then went to the GP. She referred me to the breast unit as although she suspected a cyst, it's standard practice to refer. Due to holiday, my hospital appointment was a month later and the lump was much more definite and prominent by then so I'm glad I'd got the ball rolling already as I felt quite anxious. Hospital confirmed it was a cyst and drained it but said to always seek advice for a lump even if it feels similar to this one.

You must get this checked. I found one when I was 20, it was diagnosed as a fibroid adenoma and all was fine thankfully. However, a friend has recently had breast cancer in her 30s and her life has been turned upside down. You must make time to look after your health. Make an appointment!!
