I'm confused as to why they are on clothes pegs?

ShatnersWig · 14/11/2018 08:36

Differend sizes, too

Heratnumber7 · 14/11/2018 08:37

These used to be all the rage back in the day (70s). The pegs are to clip them onto your Christmas tree.

SuperstarDJ · 14/11/2018 08:38

Maybe I’m missing something but being superglued to clothing pegs is a pretty shit idea. If people want them to hang off their Christmas tree a gold thread would be best like on Christmas baubles.

But in answer to your question, I have no need for gold pine cones so wouldn’t buy them. Plus as they are priced individually they are quite pricey unless people have a need for a single solitary gold pine cone which is unlikely.

Blanchedupetitpois · 14/11/2018 08:46

Fifteen dollars???? You could make a hundred of them yourself for $15!

Caselgarcia · 14/11/2018 08:47

15 dollars for an 18cm pine cone? Are those American dollars?

Jozen · 14/11/2018 08:50

You'd at least expect a bit of glitter or bling on the cone for your money. You know, like a bit of effort has gone into it?

Heratnumber7 · 14/11/2018 09:28

DM still has a coal scuttle full of silver and gold pine cones DSis and I picked and sprayed for her when we were kids.
In Wales we called them tisty tostys though.

(Now who is going to be the first to ask me what a coal scuttle is? Grin)

PonyPals · 14/11/2018 10:03

It's Australian dollars.
What's a coal scuttle??? Grin

A scoop thing (big) for carrying coal from the coal bunker to the fire.
